About Brent Verheyen
Welcome to the official website of Brent Verheyen.
Brent Verheyen is a 23-year-old motorsport driver from Dilsen in Limburg, Belgium. Brent's father, Guy Verheyen, has been involved in motorsport for over 30 years, so Brent grew up surrounded by squealing tires and the smell of gasoline. He has always dreamed of a successful career in motorsport and works hard to make this dream a reality.
In 2018, Brent started karting and has since competed in several championships, including the IAME Benelux Championship and the Belgian Endurance Karting Championship (BEKC). In late 2019, Brent made the switch from karting to motorsport and began competing in the European VW FunCup. After a promising and rainy first race at the end of 2019, hopes for a successful 2020 season were high. Unfortunately, due to Covid, he could not finish that season. But during the epidemic, they didn't sit still and the team owner of the Swiss racing team T2 Racing had seen enough. At the end of 2020, Brent was allowed to test drive a Norma M20 FC. Due to the immediate speed Brent was able to show, he was allowed to participate in the last few Belcar races of 2020. In this category, Brent once again proved to be a formidable opponent by immediately scoring a podium with his father and team boss Pieder Decurtins.

2021 was his first full season in motorsport, still racing the Norma M20 FC for GHK by T2 in the Belcar series. This year alongside Ian Gepts and Pieder Decurtins. The season started well with a victory at the famous Hockenheimring. Their strong pace continued throughout the season. Brent's limited experience in motorsport was not evident even once. He kept performing consistently at the best of the car's capabilities. Due to some bad luck and mechanical issues, they had to settle for the runner-up position in the Belcar championship. The end of 2021 also marked the end of an era in which Belcar banned the participation of prototypes in their series.
2022 was a season in which Brent competed with different cars in various competitions. From driving the Norma M20 FC in the Supercar Challenge to almost a full season in the Belcar with a Lamborghini Super Trofeo GT3, including the 24 hours of Zolder. But also several races in the European VW FunCup and of course the 24 hours of Dubai. A season that has paid off in all respects and has prepared him for a new challenge in 2023.

In 2025, Brent Verheyen will compete in the Belcar Endurance Championship driving a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup from Red Ant Racing. This car, known for its technical superiority and speed on the track, is familiar to him. The team has a solid reputation, and Brent feels comfortable in their environment. This season marks his return to the championship, where he is determined to work hard and give his all to capture the title of Belgian champion. His experience and dedication will help him achieve his goals and stand out among the competition.
