In 2023, the fast Eagle of 'Haegeli by T2 Racing' will once again start in the highly competitive field of the Michelin Le Mans Cup. The young Belgian driver Brent Verheyen (21), together with Pieder Decurtins, will take the wheel of the striking yellow Duqueine D08 to compete in this championship.
Brent has been a part of 'Haegeli by T2 Racing' for several years now, and has already secured many podium finishes for the team in various divisions in the Belcar Endurance Championship and the Supercar Challenge Championship. Last December, Carlo Haegeli and Pieder Decurtins invited the young man from Dilsen to test in Barcelona, where he immediately felt at home in the LMP3 and drove consistently fast times. This was enough reason for 'Haegeli by T2 Racing' (and the long-term partners around Brent) to offer the young Belgian the opportunity to break through in one of the highest classes in motorsport.
Former GT1 World Champion Marc Basseng will serve as Chief Engineer, together with another young Belgian, Benedict Conings (the new Race Engineer in Trun CH), to lead the deployment of the Duqueine. With the team motto "Jeder für Jeden" (Everyone for Everyone), we hope for a beautiful and exciting season with the entire team. The eagle will fiercely circle above the European circuits.
