Brent Verheyen with TotaalPlan Racing Lamborghini at Magny-Cours

MAGNY-COURS - Brent Verheyen will be driving one of TotaalPlan Racing's Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo in this weekend's Belcar race. The fast man from Dilsen-Stokkem will share the cockpit of the #20 with Cédric Wauters, who piloted the car to the front row of the grid at the season opener. For Verheyen, the 180-minute race at Magny-Cours will be the first with the powerful Taurus from Sant'Agata Bolognese.

"I am very grateful to TotaalPlan Racing for this opportunity", Brent Verheyen told Autosport.be. "Initially, it was not my intention to drive the Belcar this year, as I am focusing with Ian Gepts on the title in the Supercar Challenge with the Verheyen Motorsport by T2 Norma M20 FC. TotaalPlan Racing was looking for a driver for one of their cars and when I got the offer, I couldn't refuse. The Lamborghini appeals to the imagination and is one of the crowd favourites. On top of that it is a car that has to be able to fight at the front of the field and I hope to be able to drive in the limelight and give the team a lot of points in order to erase the disappointment of the season opener. It will be an adjustment, as I have never driven this type of car before and the track at Magny-Cours is completely unknown to me. I will try to prepare myself as well as possible in the simulator and I am sure that Cédric (Wauters, ed.) and the rest of the team will help me with advice and assistance. I can't wait to drive the first meters in the Lamborghini!
