Victory as a goal for Lémeret-De Pauw-Verheyen-Servol and the #2 DRM Autographe at the 25H VW Fun Cup!

It is one of the traditional candidates for victory in the European VW Fun Cup. An iconic car from DRM Motorsport, the #2 in the Autographe colours scored a resounding success eleven months ago during the Fun Cup race as a prelude to the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours. The multi-coloured car is dreaming of a first success at the 25 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps after having finished at the foot of the podium at the last two editions.

For the major event of the season, the n°2 DRM Autographe will be joined by Stéphane Lémeret and Ulysse De Pauw. The experienced journalist-driver and the young talent currently competing in GT3 know the car well, having driven it in the majority of the 2021 events, including the 25 Hours and the Le Mans race. As in Zandvoort in April, Stéphane and Ulysse will be supported by 2021 Belcar runner-up Brent Verheyen, who has already made his mark in the Netherlands. "I'm looking forward to Spa-Francorchamps, especially as we have a real chance of winning", Brent smiles. "Our crew is very strong on paper but we know that a lot can happen in the space of 25 hours. I hope to be able to put my experience of long races and night driving to good use, as I have already taken part in the 24 hours of Zolder and Dubai, which are particularly demanding events.

Stéphane, Ulysse and Brent will also be able to count on the support of a well-known figure in the French motorsport scene. Rudy Servol is one of the GT4 specialists and is currently leader of the FFSA GT Championship in the Pro-Am category. The 43 year old from Clermont-Ferrand will discover the 25 Hours after a successful warm-up on the Car Pass in Magny-Cours. "I've been hoping to do the 25 Hours for a long time", says Rudy, "I'm really attracted to the driving of the VW Fun Cup. They are very pleasant cars to drive, very well balanced and with which one can attack from the beginning to the end. I met the DRM team in Magny-Cours and a good agreement was immediately installed. As it went so well in the Car Pass, they offered me the chance to race in the n°2 car. I'm very flattered because it's a car to win overall! When I arrive at a circuit, it's to finish first and we'll do everything we can to achieve that next weekend.
